The Cook & The Butler's staff onboard HMS Duncan

To mark the centenary of the Battle of Jutland HMS Duncan visited London, mooring at Thames Quay in West India Dock, Canary Wharf.
During the historic visit The Cook & The Butler sponsored Captain Commander Charlie Guy and logistics officer Lieutenant Commander Marc Jones to become Freedom of the City of London.

HQS Wellington featured on TV, April 2016

HQS Wellington, one of London's most unique venues and the headquarters of the Master Mariners, was featured on ITV's "This Morning" program. On the show the "This Moring" couple were married on the Quarter Deck where the view across the Thames made a magnificent back-prop. The Cook & The Butler is caterer onboard the Wellington and members of the team featured in the program which included a brief interview with TC&TB's head chef, Jean and Roy, the head chef onboard.

Lord Mayor's Show, November 2015

The Cook & The Butler took part in the 2015 Lord Mayor's Show,
offering freshly cooked sausages to spectators as the parade progressed
through the streets of the city. Mark Gove, Managing Director of TC&TB,
delivered a basket of the gourmet sausages to the Lord Mayor and dignitaries.

awarded Freedom of The City of London, September 2015

Modesta Viscockiene, event Manager at The Cook & The Butler celebrates the unique historical ceremony of Freedom of The City of London, Thursday 10th September 2015, supported by Sherriff Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley and Sherriff Fiona Adler. Modesta began her City of London association in July 2003, the Freedom ceremony today is the second award, having recently been made a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Gardeners.

“Today's Freedom was a wonderful reward for Modesta, and I thank the Sheriff Alderman Dr. Andrew Parmley and Sheriff Fiona Adler for taking the time out of their busy Court day to celebrate with Modesta. Their presence only enhanced and made the historic occasion something Modesta will long remember as she treasures her City Freedom and becomes only the second Lithuanian to receive the Freedom of The City of London”

Inter-Livery Shrove Tuesday Pancake Race
at Guildhall, City of London, March 2014

The Cook & The Butler Event Company celebrated its 10-year sponsorship of the
Inter-Livery Pancake Race with the presentation of special anniversary plates
to some of the people who work so hard to make the race possible each year.


Mark Gove, Managing Director of The Cook & The Butler presents
a plate to the current Master of the Poulters, Harvie Peebles.



The Master of The Poulters presents a plate to Past Master
David Jackson who it was who first thought up the race in 2005.

of The Cook & The Butler who cooked some 1000 pancakes this year.
